Robert Gorter and his co-author Erik Peper have written the book Fighting Cancer – A Nontoxic Approach to Treatment. The book describes the Gorter Model. That is the way cancer patients are currently being treated at the Medical Center Cologne in Germany. It contains information about all treatment modalities. Robert Gorter and Erik Peper are collaborating since 1983 when they both met in San Francisco during training of young doctors and Health Care Professionals at San Francisco General Hospital (SFGH) which is one the of leading teaching hospitals of the University of California San Francisco Medical School (UCSF).
Erik Peper, PhD was faculty member and the very dynamic head of the new Department of Holistic Studies at San Francisco State University (SFSU). Robert Gorter was Associate Clinical Professor at the University of California San Francisco Medical School (UCSF).
Together, they organized numerous workshops and lectures and formal three-units classes offered by San Francisco State University. Their collaboration accumulated in writing this book together.

“Fighting Cancer – A Nontoxic Approach to Treatment” was a great success. It was sold in tens of thousands of copies all over the world. Up to now, the book has been translated and published in Dutch, German, Turkish, Italian, Romanian and Chinese. Very soon, it will also be available to order in Arabic, French, Russian, Serbian and Portuguese.
